Our first travel grant program ran in July 2018 with a group of 14 faculty from institutions across the U.S.
2018 India Engagement Program for Educators was developed for building academic partnerships with Indian institutions. Partnerships are expected to begin with a short-term study abroad program organized and led by visiting US educators that may lead to future student and faculty exchanges, research collaborations, and more.

As a clinical scientist, Dr. Vijay is committed to a theory-based approach to the study of psychology. Her research interests are focused on understanding patterns of emotion regulation related to 1) risky behavior in trauma-exposed individuals, 2) differences in patterns of emotion across subtypes of traumatic events, and 3) process and outcome research in Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
